The Honerine Mine is a deep mine located just west of Stockton, UT.
History
The mine was started in the 1860's as part of the Tooele Mining District, and was later abandoned in 1928 when the mine dried up. It was used again privately in the 1960's. The Honerine was the first mine in the country to have a telephone.
