That is some good looking ore! I bet they are pretty heavy. If you need some help mining just let me know! I'll work all day just for a nice piece like that to put in my rock collection.
quick easy processing...
crush up the rock as fine as you can get it, I use a steel bucket and an I-Beam isolator (to crush and keep everything together).
Put about 1/2 ounce of mercury per 5 lbs of rock. swish it all around for about 15 to 20 min. The mercury acts as a magnet to the gold. It will pull all gold and traces of gold until it looks very "fat" .
Take a large baking potato, and hollow it out so there is about 1.5 inches of potato at the bottom, like a cup. Pour the mercury amalgam into the potato. Put a receptacle for the mercury under the potato and let it sit for about a day.
The mercury will leech through the potato, leaving all of the gold sitting inside the potato. Then just secure your mercury, empty the gold into a high temp pistil or pot and melt it down in a fire or small oven outside.
Whole process takes about 2 days to process 15-20 lbs after you get good at it.
Did you check into the cost of having it processed Kelly? there is a place in town that processes raw gold but you may already know that. If not I can get the info for you. I may be being overly cautious here but there are some serious health risks to processing your own ore, It may be worth it to have it processed just my .02
It has to be chemically processed to get everything out of it. Theres only 1 place in the Western States that will do it and if the ore grade comes back good enough we'll start hauling. I think theres about 4 ton off the mountain right now.
At this point I think theres more money in selling samples.

PM me for special Mojave Underground pricing on all of your climbing/exploring needs.
I would think that would be a cyanide process which can be done but there is a bit involved, if you are able to sell samples without all the extra effort and bs involved I would be all over that too.
